wiring an electric motor

I'm hoping someone more experienced can help me with this. I'm replacing a pump in my hot tub. the new motor is aftermarket so I'm not sure if it is wired differently or not. in this post I'll post pics of the original motor and wiring, and in the next post I'll post a poc of the diagram on the new motor. thanks!

here is the new motor wiring diagram


there are 4 wires going into the motor.
green, which is clearly a ground and not an issue, red, black, and white.
