Hi,

I just picked up a used CMC titl unit that I am going to use with my outboard. It did not come with a tilt switch so I was just going to wire it in to a On/Off/ON rocker switch.

Can anyone tell me how to wire it correctly ?

thanks

jon

Thanks ! The switch has three posts. I assume that the hot wire from the battery goes to the middle post and that the two wires into the CMC unit go to the other two.

Is that right ?

jon

Better be a fairly high current switch. Normally the switch operates UP and DOWN relays that carry the current to the motor.
