Will a wireless printer accept signals from two different wireless routers? Here is the deal. Mrs B's laptop currently accesses her Brother printer via a wireless router that is not hooked to the internet. She runs her laptop off of our inhouse wired network, just like my PC's.
My Win7 laptop is not connected to the wired network but accesses the internet using our DSL combination modem/wireless router. Trying to take the line of least resistance, I would like to run the printer setup on my laptop and have it communicate with the printer via the same router that it uses to access the internet.
I maybe could change my wife's laptop to operate the printer off the same modem/router but I do not want to deal with that now. It may also cause a conflict considering she is hooked to a wired network and the modem/router is hooked to the internet.
So for now, I would hope to leave hers be and just install the printer setup on my laptop and have it operate her printer alongside her other setup. What say you all?
