Yes I got the plug which was above the oil pan, and a lot of water came out for a minute or so.
then you should be fine. Most times I never got water out of my manifold drain when I had a 3.0 not sure if it siphoned out when draining the block or what. Easy engine to winterize with just the vent by the thermostat and the two drains - manifold and block. If you are worried the manifold still has water you can take the supply line off the thermostat and blow air through to push water out exhaust or use hydraulic head to fill it with AF and push water out
You should run it with a thermostat as it will never get warm enough to cook off any condensation in the oil
