Winter mice are too much this cold winter in New Jersey.

Do they hate enough to move out of a house in January?
A few years back, mice invaded my neighbors barn and chewed up the wiring and the seat on his skid steer. Peppered the inside with cotton balls with peppermint oil. All disappeared in less than a month and never touched a single cotton ball.....normally they love cotton to make nests !

I dont doubt that the pesky critters dislike peppermint but after decades of having stuff chewed and shat on by mice revenge becomes a primary motivation , and with a couple of cats acting as double agents ........little bastards ,Ya know I reckon half the mice in my house get bought in as livies and wind up as body parts in the hall or , if they are fortunate enough to elude the cats they might hide and die to stink the place out or survive untill I trap their furry little arses.
But I do consider myself lucky .☺️....... my neibough has teenagers:D

Have lived in my home coming up on 5 years, never a mouse in the house or garage. I do put out outdoor poison stations during the warm months.
