Hi Folks!<br /><br />Couple months ago I picked up a 1989 Winner W/A w/twin Johnson 140's. So far it has been an outstanding, seaworthy boat and I am very pleased with it. My questions are: <br /><br />1. Does anyone on this board have experience with Winner boats? If so any good or bad comments would be greatly appreciated. There is little to be found on them since they went out of business in 89.<br /><br />2. I have run this boat in many different types of water and conditions and it seems to only get 1.25 to 1.5 miles per gallon on average. I do not run it hard and try to stay in the optimum rpm crusing range. I have tabs and I trim her the best I can and still get this mileage. Based on her size and twin hp, should I be getting closer to 2mpg or more? It is a heavy boat but this seems low to me. <br /><br />Thanks for any info you guys can lend!
