has anyone tried using a wing with a wakeboard/wakesurf at slower speeds. Towable version of wingsurfing?

Foil board basics

I have not foil boarded and am unlikely to bother with it but the above link will give you an idea. However, my whole family goes hydrofoiling regularly on our AirChair and SkySki makes an excellent version of a hydrofoil too.

The hydrofoil is a sit on towable that is excellent in rough water, and smooth, which my wife gets towed at 15 mph and my kids get towed at 21 mph. You can have a leisurely ride or a very athletic one. They are great fun. A foiled wake surf board or wakeboard might be cool but I'm not that keen on having the foil in some unknown location when I wipeout.
