Hi guys has anyone ever put a windless on a 1978 bayliner 2150 ciera sunbridge.Looking at this one it will have to fit on the bow pulpit. That will mean drilling through it and the deck.what do you think http://www.foreandaftmarine.com/SP-710H.htm
Just a suggestion..... that's plenty of force that can stress and damage the deck. Can you get below the deck and install a fair size piece of 3/4 sealed up plywood to spread the load? I would also seal every hole you drill with 3m4200 or 5200 to keep things watertight.
Thats thick and heavy! I am partial to stainless steel and I bet a piece of 10 gauge with large washers will achieve the results...will not rust either.
