Windlass and modifying the forward bulkhead

The boat is a 2022 SeaFox Commander 248 and the problem I'm having is with the windlass jamming because the anchor locker isn't deep enough for the 150' of rope and 15' of chain. The locker is at the very forward portion of the hull so it's a shallow triangle and the rode only lays against the bulkhead and doesn't fill the forward part of the locker. It's gravity doing it's thing.

I'm debating drilling / cutting a hole in the bulkhead and running a pipe from the windlass, where the rode comes thru the deck, to the hole in the bulkhead so the rode lays under the front seats where there's plenty of space and depth for gravity to do it's thing. I'd use PVC and a 30 or 45 degree fitting to direct the rode towards the bulkhead but this leads to two questions. First, what's the risk of hull failure / voiding the warranty if I modify the bulkhead to fit a 2" pipe and second is 45 degrees shallow enough that the rode won't get hung up in the pipe?

Thanks for any help.

Unable to say but do believe if there was an issue with the hull, the manufacture may void the warranty. That said unless your modification would have to have related to the issue

Don't know if the pipe would work but if its for the most part straight down it may work. Keep in mind it would need to have close to if not a bit more distance between end of pipe and the rode laying
