Will Swimplatform for 2001 Four winns 248 Vista fit a 1999 258 Vista

Hi,
I have a 1999 Four Winns 258 Vista and have located a Swimplatform from a 2001 248 Vista. Will the 248 Vista Swimplatform extention fit on a 258 Vista. In reviewing photos that appear to be similar size and configuration.

I looked on Google for images of these boats. The swim platforms are not interchangeable. The 258 has a small swim platform with an optional extended platform that attaches on top of the original. The 248 and 268 swim platforms attach below the rub rail.
