Will props interchange?

I have a 58 Sportwin Ten . I can get a nice prop from a 1964 9.5 HP. Will these two props interchange?

They are the same part numbers here at iboats.
Assuming they are the same pitch they will interchange.

No being prop literate, I am assuming that pitch is the angle of the blades? How does pitch affect the performance? Thanks!

Ayuh,... The Higher the Pitch,... The faster possibilty if the horsepower is there... Or lower rpms if the power isn't there...
The trick is to match the reccommended WOT RPMs...
