Having problems with my Mercruiser trim, it trailers fine, goes up and down when underway moving slow fine but once on plane it will not trim up. Any advice out there thanks in advance.
Not sure which one I have it is in a 92 Bayliner Alpha1 Gen II attached to a 3.0. I will have to go to storage lot today and get the exact model # of trim pump if thats what you need.
Did this start all at once? Any work done on the pump trim lines disconnected at some point.
Sounds like you have low pressure from the pump. The pump does have a high and a low pressure side, and wondering if things got crossed up somehow.
If nothing is crossed, you probably have some problems with the valves in the pump itself.

It did start all of a sudden but it was after I had removed the pump to fix the bracket at which time I also removed the oil reservoir to clean it all out because I noticed it had water in it. Someone else told me it was probably one of the valves.
Looks like I did have the hoses swapped. I have swapped them over just got to wait for a little better weather to check it out still got some cold days left don't want de-winterize it yet. Thanks for the help.
