I had to read all the above posts first and didn't think I'd get to the bottom.....anyway, the prop you have now is an original SST, not the SSTII. It IS a STEARN-LIFTER...the oposite of a RAKER. People get into trouble here (me).<br /> You got "Hadley on the scene", and thats good.<br /> I'm doing some simular testing of my own with my "own" design setback.<br /> Stick with it!

try a four blade prop for extra lift and it also aloows you to increase pitch. By going to a 4 blade Stilleto 20" prop from a 19" 3 blade, I increased my top speed by 4 mph on my 1989 Baja Force 216. GPS'ed at 63mph from 59mph. It also handled so much better with a much lower planing speed.
