Just buy yourself lots of incodesent bulbs run them for the same time puts out heat making them 100% efficient in winter months. Just sayin

Yeah....dual purpose,HEAT & LIGHTS and nobody can fuss about you leaving the lights on!

I always wonder if the U.S is getting closer to doing the 'big shift' over or not.:)

Actually, we're waiting for the rest of the world to convert to the imperial standard. The switch to metric was tried (sort of) back in the seventies I think. Failed then, and would fail now.

I believe you have the US standard, the imperial standard is British, and there is a difference between a US gallon and a imperial gallon.

Oops, you're correct. Either way, I don't think we'll switch to Metric any time soon.
