Wasn't Rod Tampa Bays defensive coordinator for the last 10 years? He should know some defense, anyway. That is a start for Detroit.

Defense was not the problem this year. Well, at least up until the injury bug hit. Through the first half, they were up towards the top.<br /><br />The offensive ills kept the defense on the field too long. They did not score enough. In the close games, they fizzled out because they were on the field too long.
