Trying to buy replacement canvas snap-op covers for my 2008 Stingray 195LX. Can someone point me in the best direction? Anyone know who the OEM was? I contacted a custom upholstery guy in NH but he says they start at $1850! That's way too much for a boat of this age!
Thanks,
Phil

If you look at optional OEM prices for runabouts, they are in the $1000 - 1500 range. That would be for a stock item that was inventoried at the time. I doubt the OEM manufacturer would still have spare parts lying around for a 15 year old boat. Thus, even if they still have the patterns they would likely charge you a custom price.

$1850 isn't a bad price, all considered. My local canvas shops would charge more. Only you can decide if that's cost effective. If your goal is to simply cover the boat, WalMart covers can be had for several hundred.
