Re: Who has ever bought something from iboats?

Have never bought nothing, but that don't mean I wouldn't if the need ever came up.
One thing I have noticed, as far as I can tell, is there is no place for fishing supplys like rods and stuff.
I know this might not be feasible with all the rods out there, but could you stock atleast one brand of rods?
If there is such stuff on the site, could someone point me in the right direction? :D

I think it has happened!!!!!

on another note:
when I order things from this web site they all come from different parts of the USA?I take it that you guys just have a web site that helps other venders out?!?!?!?

Re: Who has ever bought something from iboats?

Thanks everyone so far on the very insightful comments! We are taking them to heart to see what we can do to improve. We ship thousands of orders from over a dozen warehouses every month. We wanted to hear both the good and the bad so thanks!

gonfishn We are 99% of the time very responsive to emails (within 1 business day). Congratulations! A messed up customer service computer got you into the rare 1%! I personally found your email, which I thank you for because it helped us identify the problem, and you should get a response back soon.

iboats sells thousands of boat covers and so I was shocked to see that it is difficult to find them. I then looked and found out that the majority of covers we sell come through one of our specialty sites www.boat-cover.net which we have taken the time to make the search easy. You are right that the MegaMall does not make it easy at all. We are working to improve it to be like the site above. Go to that site for the time being to look for covers. :(

Mellowyellow This is the first time we have ever heard about Boatersworld being less expensive on anything. Please compare us next time because you should almost always find iboats to have better pricing. If you run accross something let us know!

crab bait You are right. iboats does not have Nissan manuals for sale. We have all the other engine manufacturer manuals. Sorry. Hope you forgive us and give us another try on something else :) .

JB We are looking into the books to see what happened and will get back to you.

miloman Good comments. We are working on a new tool that will help people to easily match up the right prop to their boat. For the time being we hope that people will call our toll free number for help.

Please keep both the good and the bad experiences coming! We want to know. Thanks.

Man when the main man gets involved things do happen. Got the Email and decided to call(six days later) instead, but had to refer me to WestLand for help. Gave me a part number and will go from there.

Told the gal to tell Admin5 thanks and all I got was huh!!!lol......Web site must be a secret because I got another huh!! on that one. Best part was when I called I gave her my name/Gonfishn and then there was a long pause after that. Must expect that when dealing from someone from the hills. Found out when you push the right link it gets to where you need to go. Thanks for giving me that personal response. Shows your a team player....

I don't really understand how you catagorize items. The fishing section is represented by a bobber, which you don't sell. But that section includes bimini tops and radio antennas. And books seem to be scattered all over the site. Any search I have done turns up unrelated items that I must go thru, one page at a time, sometimes 30 pages, to get to what I am looking for.

But like I said before, the products and prices are decent.
