125 miles south of Grub. We don’t have thee big lake to keep us warm.
-15 all night. Wind chills -35

What is winterizing?
Is that the 9 months of the year when I wear long pants?

We’ve got 2 locals, brothers. They wear wife beaters, a denim vest, shorts, and tennis shoes year round. And yes, that’s how they were dressed at the gas station last night at 10 pm.

Big winds in VT . . . lots of power outages. It was raining most of the day and then the temperature dropped from 50˚F to 25˚F in no time and started snowing. Probably will be single digits in the AM.

Power just came back on.

Temperature inside my boat late afternoon a few days ago. Got colder overnight for sure.
Sea water temperature perhaps a little more optimistic! Think the sensor must be broken. Just started to show that temp all the time now. Must look into that.

7* here on the North Shore of Long Island NY. Had lots of wind & rain yesterday & the highest tides I’ve seen since Hurricane Sandy. Entrance road & bridge flooded. 6,000 with power out still 600 out this morning hope they get it back soon with these temps.

Yep I was looking at that too, a new hot spring developing perhaps? Maybe missing a decimal point, 8.0*C (46*F) would actually make sense. The harbor behind where I live is starting to freeze up now, only a few boats still out there, most pull their boats in November.
We were at 7* this am, it is now 15*. Going to warm up later this week though.

Funnily enough…it’s been into double figures here last few days too. Crazy. Raining and all back to normal !
You had me questioning if I was missing a decimal place for a second there. Then I remembered I tried a master reset on it recently. That out all units into the US format. It read 170 odd degrees Fahrenheit before changing it back. Good thinking though !
All the best for Xmas !

What is your water temps?

Water is still in the mid-40’s here. Low 50’s an hour or so south of here
