Now that the Saints have won the division, can they play the second string next week against the Cowboys?

No, since the Vikings are doing so well also, the Saints need to continue to win to get homefield advantage in the playoffs. If the Vikings win all the rest and the Saints lose 1, the Vikings will have homefield advantage because their loss was not a division game, and all the rest of the Saints games are division games so they weigh more heavily against the homefield advantage if lost.

The Saints "player" of the game this week, was Sean Payton. I watched the the Redskins fumble that put the Saints in command of the final portion of the game, over and over. I honestly couldn't tell if the ball started coming loose before or after, Mike Sellers left arm was down. I'm sure that this call will be argued for months to come, but if Payton hadn't called a time out, it probably would not have been booth reviewed.

You also have to give the Redskins credit, because they darn near did what no one else in the regular season, has been able to do - beat the Saints. Yes, we were missing a few players, but this is not the first game of the season with that circumstance.

Conversely, the Saints just don't give up. Ever. That fact alone, is often what separates those who go the the SB and those who do not.

WHO DAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS? WHO DAT?!!!

Yes, Sean was brilliant with that call. Turned out for the best. It would be awesome to see two undefeated teams in the superbowl!
