If you was to buy a Antique Ventage Mercury which year, model and horsepower would you buy?

I go with what I can find. Only one requirement it's gotta be cheap. Lot's of them around. I like the GreenTops the best.
I have a KE-4, MK 25, and a Merc 110 9.8 HP. Two run, haven't got to the MK 25 yet.

Are you talking about Merc?

I do not know what a KE-4 , MK 25 are since I am new to this. I always love Outboard Motor but never really brought any. feel the one can be very proud of owning so of the old ones.

My KE-4 is a 1949 7.5 HP. Green top is the green gas tank, it's a direct drive, no F-N-R shifting. Pull the starter and go.
The Mark 25 i am refering to is a 1956 20 HP. It has the F-N-R shifting, remote gas tank.

I would buy a '57 Mark 10......................running............with a newly installed water pump...
But that's just me.
