Which trailer w/o a boat to sell?

Hello, just asking for a little piece of advice before I sell one of the 2 trailers I have. I will be selling a 1976 Starcraft 20' American sometime next spring. It sits on a good 1976 single axle trailer with next to new tires, bearing biddies and has rollers for easy retrieval and launching.
I have a second 1996 Shoreline double axle with bunks, in need of new tires and not 100% sure if surge brakes are working or not. I can probably sell my old girl with either trailer but was not sure what the value would be when I put the other trailer up for sale? BTW the lights work on both trailers.

In others words, which trailer would be easier to sell w/o a boat on it and which trailer would a potential boat buyer want with this 20' closed bow antique?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, advice and average price for these types of trailers. They are both steel and not galvanized if that helps.....

Opinion, others will vary

A good solid working trailer will always sell better then one which needs work.

A dual axle trailer is worth more then a single because it can haul more. If side by side with a single in same shape, dual wins

A light boat can be carried on a heavy trailer but not the other way around

A good looking/run boat on a bad trailer will loose some money off the boat because of the trailer.

I would sell boat with single axle and sell dual as needs work

Sounds good.....I was leaning in that direction but needed some feedback considering I don't buy, sell boats and trailers every day.
Lastly, are there any decent videos I can view to fully understand how to test surge brakes, how to maintain the system and how it works. The new/used boat I bought has a 2002 Four Winns trailer for a 240 Horizon boat and the brakes work flawlessly. I'm not sure if the surge brakes work on the duel axel I want to sell.
Thanks again All Dodge for your input!!

Need 2 people

Take the ball hitch off the truck and connect to trailer.
Jack up the wheel on trailer.
One step down on hitch and see if brakes are applied
