I have seen the CDI electronics bulletins and they recommend Champion QL78YC while my OEM manual recommends QL 77JC4 which I have been using. I am not racing just cruising and fishing. Any thoughts on this? 150 EXEOM.
actually BRP parts diagram shows SPARK PLUG, Champion, QL82YC as the proper plug, with QL77JC4 as an option. does not even show QL78YC. it will be fine with QL77JC4 gapped at .030.
QL 78YC comes from the CDI site and QL 82 YC comes from the Master Tech site. I have always used QL 77JC4 as is recommended in the OEM manual. Just wondering if there were other plugs now recommended which may perform better. Thanks.
