There's nothing wrong with changing it sooner than specified.... Run your oil as long as you want but try your best not to lose sleep about me changing mine early.

Also I didn't suggest that he change it at ANY hour interval... I suggested twice a year.

I change mine at winter layup an again mid season... I don't know or care what my hours are... I have no hour meter and am certain that the hours are way below 100 when I change the oil.

He is totally fine changing after 50 hours one time a year.
