Which manual covers digital distributorless ignition

I probably have 40 sets of mercruiser manuals and none have the destributorless digital ignition circa '91.

Anyone know which manual I need? I have a full set from 88, full set from 92, neither have it.

Either way, dressing a 3.0 L and going to have to do the timing.

Including a pick of serial and such.

this set up is the one I am looking for a manual for. Book number and manual year would help a ton. Thanks.

Or just whatever I have to do to set base timing. You know, like the ground this wire and connect these two colors together type thing.

Looks like it's manual #13 part # 90-816462
No mention of doing anything to get into "base timing"

DDIS Ignition Timing
1. Connect timing light to No.1 spark plug.
2. Start engine and run at normal idle speed (under
900 RPM
3. Adjust timing by loosening clamp and rotating
motion sensor, as required, until timing mark on
pulley aligns with 8° BTDC mark on tab.

If you can find merc service bulletin 89-9 it covers ddis . Yeah no need for base timing mode, just check for 8 btdc with a timing light. advance is Supposed to be 26 degrees at 2600 rpm for 34 degress total
i had one on my 91 searay never had an issue in 20 years with it. Timing never moved. Unfortunately most of the parts for it are NLA .
