Which ignition do I have? 1968 mercury 500

I will be picking up a 1968 boat with a 1968 Mercury 500 in a few weeks. I want to find some parts sources ahead of time for the ignition and other serviceable items. On the available parts diagrams they all seem to list two different ignitions. How do I determine which one I have?

My best guess without seeing pictures is the Lightning energizer type
with a large red coil, this is electronic ignition no points, but there is a timing belt under the flywheel that might need replacing.

That is what I am thinking as well. I haven't seen it in years but I believe I remember the distributor was shaped like the one in the diagram. I hope I can find parts.

Well. here is the answer to my original question. I was finally able to repair the trailer and more it to its new home. I can already see I will be replacing the motor's wiring harness.
