Which dinghy motor is better?

New (leftover) 2001 4hp Johnson 2 cycle, 2 cylinder, 1 year warranty, apparently made in USA<br /><br />or<br /><br />New 2003 3.5 hp Johnson 2 cycle, 1 cylinder, 2 year warranty, made in China<br /><br />price is the same for each - which one is going to be the better motor?

John,<br /><br />The two cylinder engine is a much better pick, regardless of origin. Smoother, quieter, need I say more!

The small 2 cylinder Johnsons and Evinrudes were always VERY fine motors.

hello<br /> naaah the best motors are broke ones . second best is the 2 cylinder. smother quieter and shakes less.<br /> good luck and keep posting
