You will need to wipe the teak down with a thinner prior to applying the epoxy.
A good sanding job, right down to 400 grit wet sanding will serve you well when
applying the varnish. Epoxy breaks down with exposure to the UV in sunlight.
Use a varnish with the most UV resistance you can find. http://www.yachtpaint.com/usa/
Perfection works well over epoxy. This will result in a high gloss finish. Some
don't like that effect on teak. Good luck, GH
