which boat for me?

I am looking at the two boats with links below:

One is a 1989 Beachcraft cuddy with a Cobra v6 I/O the other is 1978 Searay cuddy with a chevy 305 I/O.

I will primarily use the boat for local trips in puget sound fishing and tubing and such. I am relatively new to boating and would appreciate any advice from the wise ones.

A buddy of mine has the same Searay, but his is a bowrider. It's a great boat, very well constructed & roomy. If it didn't have the 800 series OMC on it I'd buy it from him, as he rarely uses it. It aslo has the 305 Chevy in it, & I swear u can barely hear that engine run.

There are better deals out there. I just bought an 18 foot open bow 1994 Maxum for 3200 out in Bremerton, WA.
