The little metal tab on the mounting bracket is gone. Is there anywhere else on that motor to look? This is my first question ever on this or any other forum.

Look for a round metal "freeze" plug about the size of a quarter on the powerhead with numbers stamped on it. If it is missing too, the motor is most likely stolen.

Look on the power head for a soft plug (round metal disc with numbers on it set into the block)Without that a detailed description or picture may work.

Thank you very much. Havent looked yet, im tired and its dark, but thanks again. Ill ket ya know if i find it.
