That morning I was doing some contract work in Reston, Voirginia, which is about 20 miles west of DC. My crew had gone for coffee and I was alone when the news broke into the music playing on the radio. The guys didn't believe me when I told the the WTC had been hit by a plane.
About 20 minutes later we were all startled by a LOUD helicopter moving fast just above the treetops. We found out later that Laura Bush and **** Cheney had been evacuated to a "secure" location to the west........

I woke up to a phone call from my friend only to find myself in bed next to an ugly woman and then the towers fell. Trrrible morning on so many levels.
