Where to find thermostat

I can not find where to get a thermostat for a 1969 55hp Johnson outboard. Other years I can find, but not this one. Can anyone help? Thanks

By to find you mean to buy? Should be an easy one, including right here at iboats.

Here's the PN's you will need.

T-stat - 396987
T-stat gasket - 313416
Cover gasket - 313417

Should find them in iboats store or at a J/Rude dealer.

You'll save about $4 dollars on the t-stat ordering from iboats. The gaskets you will likely have to get from a J/Rude dealer or a site that sells them. Seems it would be just as easy to get it all from a local dealership.
