where to find porta bote serial number

picked up a 10 genesis IV porta bote in very good condition, came with a 2.5 hp outboard. would like to register but can't seem to find serial/hull number anywhere. It got the Porta Bote sticker but no serial number on it.

any help would be appreciated. thx

I just bought the same one. Came with dollies and oars, planning to buy a 2.5hp. Did you find the serial #? How do you find the 2.5 with two adults?
