Aq151a. Needs a 6” filter/arrestorWhat engine model?
Had I looked/thought back I’d probably remember your engine model.Aq151a. Needs a 6” filter/arrestor
Ive checked all the usual sites. Wouldnt pay 150 for a used one. I see k&n makes them but 250. My old ones arent in good condition. One is all bent and unraveled. For the cost of them tho ill just solder it and clean it and it can hang half off the plate.Had I looked/thought back I’d probably remember your engine model.

Im aware. Why I said element not filterIt is not a Filter. It is there to absorb the Heat from any Flame from a Backfire, to remove that a source of Ignition of any Gasoline Vapours in the Engine Compartment. That might be why they are not replaceable Media
Most were riveted that I am aware ofThe factory ones on my motor are not riveted. They come apart
Mine is like this with a two bolt hole metal cap. Sucks because all holley/k&n ones are single Center holes.A lot of OEM types were Riveted, they also look like a bunch of Stacked Fins. Others like Holley do use a Mesh.
Yah I see the rivets now that I zoom in. Damn. These two bolt ones are hard to find.My Holley one, doesn't come apart.
How big is the Opening for the Carb? If it is the same as the Holley, you could use the old one as a Template to drill two holes in the top of the new one.Yah I see the rivets now that I zoom in. Damn. These two bolt ones are hard to find.
