New to the Restoration world, and about to order up some supplies. I have looked at US Composites, and Raka, which are both out of Florida. Is there any other supplier closer to Vermont??? Just wondering....I have been searching google with no luck, but I would presume someone on here would know the answer. Shipping the Poly Resin is quite expensive, and if I can save I will.

Merton's Fiberglass & Marine Supply in Longmeadow (Springfield, MA)

iBoats sells some supplies, but not quite as much as the specialty retailers. Fiberglasssite is another one that I have used, but I am not sure where they are located.

I have been using http://fiberglasssupplydepot.com/home.php and am very happy. They have taken time to talk me through a bunch of stuff and been spot on as to what I should use and how to use it.

I dont think they are a huge shop but ship no later than the next morning if you place an order. I believe they are in FL.

My suggestion would be to contact some of the local marina's and or boat repair shops and find out where they get their supplies from. They might be able to tell you some local suppliers that would sell retail where you could pick up and save shipping.
