I bought a 1984 shop made boat that is supposed to be a direct copy of a hydrosport. It has a 1984 model black max 150 on it. I need to find the rectifier to replace it. Where is it?? Any help would be great.
You should find that mounted in your ignition plate. Here's a link to an exploded view of the electrical system for your motor, courtesy of Crowley Marine. Part #17 is the rectifier. Hope this helps...
