Where is the front line on trim tilt hydraulic pump

Jerryjerry05 gave a good explanation about draining the trim tilt pump saying remove the 4 screws on the bottom the the front line then the other three lines. I have a line from the bottom and two from the side. The only other connection I see is from the switch going in at the top. I have. 71 Chrysler 120. image.jpg

Yours look definitely different. Probably, this is the one Jerry was referring to. Which is the more common type of T&T system.

Got this same diagram from MasterTech......for my setup everything is right except the green arrow pointing to the third hole on the VB......on both my original and rebuilt VBs that third hole is plugged and the line goes in the fourth hole (farthest from the transom). IIRC my manual shows that line going in the fourth hole also....

Seams like there is no return line for the trim cylinder.
Bcrosby, attach a pic of the trim cylinder.
How is the return (down movement) for the trim cylinder piston?

With just 2 hard lines could it be just a tilt only system? Not sure what that black hose is.......
