I'd like to see Gus GT1M start posting again as well. I really liked his project...

A guy that plays with pyrotechnics is NOT crazy. Now building a garage, that's another story.

My gal loves our new 30x60 garage, her part is 30x20, my part is 30x40. :D

Hi everyone :) Yes, I am alive!

Where do I start....... I am working full time +++ plus plus plus at the Sheriff"s Department. I buried my Dad's ashes before the Summer, I am building a 30 x 32 garage, then to make life interesting I did a class III hamstring tear on my right leg. I now know how painful the NFL guys feel. So, tomorrow the VA is removing a Bursa sack growth that has become solid on my right elbow........ oh and the building supply company just this morning delivered the first load of wood.

Holy cow this has been a busy year! I usually manage to get (or try to) at least one day off a week and that is going to change. We finally go a new person trained and she will help take up our hours.

I have 2 project boats and my Starcraft in the yard....... I feel ashamed but I only get near them when I am cutting the grass. My friend has a Regal which is in and that has been my outlet. I stop in (I used to while at work but can not anymore) here and snoop. God bless you all!

Bob

PS the new moderators are faster then me now on keeping an eye on things and they are great!

Glad you dispelled any and all rumors of giving up on boating and iboats.

Pics of progress on the garage, or it didn't happen.

Maybe rest a little to heal before the long haul of building.

And off to the VA tomorrow for my right arm operation at 1300 hrs (okay 1 PM ;)) My wife's car was already using her space until the wood delivery blocked her entrance.

Be careful and do not hurt yourself anymore, especially the parts that are healing. Get well soon.

Prayed that all went well ... recover quickly!

My wife's car was already using her space until the wood delivery blocked her entrance.
She probably realizes by now that this is the only time she will be allowed anywhere near the garage! Till the truck, the Yaris, and the boats go in there, "oops, sorry Honey, there is no room for you SUV!"

Surgery went fine. PAINFUL night last night but recovering........ Art ....the Yaris (RIP) was totaled by hail and now Jenn drives a Scion XB and I have a Sequoia. The 30 X 32 will still be small but it will certainly be better then the "No Garage" situation. :)
