Where do I get cosmetic parts for my 01 Q7?

Due to lack of care from the origional owner, my boat is a bit rough. I have had the seats redone, but cannot find some parts that cannot be redone or are missing. How do I find these parts? The local Tahoe dealer are a bunch of idiots and despite me having been there a dozen times with the description, they never call me back with any information.

Parts I need are dash parts and the rear vent cover. Specific to this boat.

Any idea where I can find parts?

I would contact Tracker directly. Explain your situation and see if they can supply you with part numbers. They have been helpful with me in the past. Once you have part numbers you can point the idiots in the right direction.

Man, seems like all tracker parts dealers are the same. Mine hear in clarksville In. is the same way. Everytime i call, if they are busy they take your # and say they`ll call back, they never do. I ordered a vent cover for mine a month ago, and when I called the other day to check on ,he said he hadn`t checked his parts that just came in yet. This after he said it would take 3-5 days and they would call me when it was in. The list goes on and on. Very frustrating indeed!

No kidding. I bet they never even ordered it for you. They probably couldnt find a part number and gave up. Same thing that keeps happening to me. URGH!! When I am ready to start on the cosmetics I will call Tahoe direct I think.

I deal with Paul at Letsinger Marine in Monroe, LA. Maybe you can call them and they'll ship it to you? He's given me two vent covers for free because the hole was cut a little large. Here's their website:

Well I picked up my vent cover yesterday from bass pro. They never did call me back when it came in, but I was still happy to get it. It snapped right in place, and I put a bead of rtv on the inside(engine compartment),where the vent tangs come thru. I went ahead and did the other 3 while I was in there. Hopefully, this will prevent any of them from falling out again.

Any idea on how to reinstall or tighten the bow grab handles? My new to me 2005 Q4 Sport is missing the handle on starboard and the port handle has pulled out of the top bolt and is dangling by the bottom bolt. I don't have five foot long arms to reach up in between the inner fiberglas hull and the outer hull from the little vent hole under the instrument panels.

Anyone ever replaced their Tahoe grab handles in the bow?
