I have this same boat o nly one year older this boat is an 1988 Sea Sprite 225SSB and mines an 1987. My boat has carpeting through out and a lounger seat on the port side and 1 captan's chair. This newer boat seems to have a different kind of floor? just wondering if its a panelized floor or is it gel coat? I want my floor to be conducive to fishing and easy washdown.88 sea aprite 225 ssb.jpg88 sea sprite 225.jpg

From this distance it looks like gel coat finish...

But what about the groves and what looks like hatches? one on each side of the engine cover and one near the cuddy entrance? they look factory made or precast? my floor has no access on either side of the engine cover in the floor and only a small 12" x 14" scuttle in the floor between the seats by the cuddy entrance.

Not 100% sure, but all the design could have been incorporated into the mold that was used to create the design...probably designed as drainage channels...

You can probably build a floor similar to this just using plywood and fiberglass resin with mat/cloth, then apply a gel coat finish...or even apply a different type of finish like "Durabak" Roll On Bed Liner, Do It Yourself Bed Liner Paint

Post up some pics of what you have and the guys here can give you a lot of ideas on how to get what you are looking for...
