I like the older Berkley Lightning rods of about 8yrs ago.....very sensitive rods...I've got some Falcons, a few GLoomis, and a Shimano or 2 and some other odds-N-ends, but my go-to is the Lightning rods...

I too use Berkley rods. IM6, a medium to heavy rod.<br />I also have an older Berkley Lightning rod.

I cant wait for someone to ask about favorite reels -- especially baitcasters....

i use all star and bearkly lightning rod. but favorite is G-loomis

anybody ever use the old berkley bionix? that was my all time favorite!!

I'm looking at 9 Fenwicks over in the rod rack, all ranging from ultralights to medium heavys.<br />I can't say they're the best, but I've boated 6lb+ Bass with the ultralight and a 71 inch Sturgeon on the Salmon rod.
