Hang on SS, the warm weather is on its way. Thursday we were at -16 with a wind chill of lower than -30. This morning it was -4 now it is around 15. Hear tell of 32F in the next couple days. I was outside yesterday cutting cement board and the tools sure were cold on the hands.

I love this. Like Magstar, I'm enjoying a real mild winter up here in BC. Weekend saw close to 50 F and most of the snow is gone. Only problem is the snow pack has been light the last couple of years and I want the snow to fill up the lakes.<br /><br />But I'll sit back and enjoy the warmth.

So far this winter, I have only seen my yard bare twice since Thanksgiving. Those Great Lakes seem to be everywhere, just in frozen form of snow.<br /><br />Busted my ole snow plow on my Cub. The undercarriage is in pieces, but still manages to shove the white crap out of the drive.<br /><br />This weekend their calling for the 40's.<br /><br />WishinIwasFishin, Sure wish I could trade this weather with you for awhile. Sure do miss having the boat out.

Like Scoop says SS, hang in there, can't last forever. (or can it?????) Got a heat wave coming tomorrow. Supposed to git near +30. May just lay out and git tanned. Folks say we are supposed to get more snow tomorrow to. Whoops...just heard the weather. Now saying 17 degrees and a chance of 2 to 4 inches of snow. There goes my sun bathing. SS....lets go to the south.....real far.

Hey OutboardJim, Looking at the weather in Washington State, which is further north than us, and they have fair weather. It's something about those Great Lakes that brings us that polar stuff. Perch fishing on lake Erie, catfish on the Ohio river, almost worth staying. The 4 month boating season could be longer however. SS

It was suppose to be windy with wind chills reaching -25*F during the day, but the winds abated and it turned out being pretty nice - mid twenties. I must be crazy or something! This cold weather is getting to me. I'm actually looking forward to and appreciating twenty degree days. <br />Urgent: Need help from west coast.......send warm weather........pleeeeeease!

Generally we have sunshine piped into our small fair community until the dang pipe froze up. Just looked outside and the white stuff coming down again. 1-3" so the weather mans says. I know what yer sayin' SS about not enough fishing months. She herself gets out there as soon as she can and starts killin' worms. Last year I think she went through till the end of September before she said she'd had enough and I could put the toon away for the winter. But lookin' at the bright side, we're gettin close to the end of January, days are getting longer and they say warm weather is just over the horizon...somewhere in Washington State.

Forcasters should be called weather guessers. Sunday they called for an inch or less, got 5 more sitting on the 4 that was already there. Yesterday they started out saying 2-4 in the afternoon with an additional 1-3 in the evening. Evening news they called it off and said there will only be a dusting. Woke up to the schools being closed with 5 inches of new snow. I did get the ole plow fixed and it works like new again.

wow! a heat wave 24 right now and both Sat &<br />Sun will get above freezing (barely) better get <br />here soon, got some helacious ice dams on my roof.<br />heck, that's almost warm enough to wet a line!

Its been hangin around the low teens for a while here in northern michigan. And crazy ol' me went boating not too long ago! My 1958 18 foot aluminum took on 2 and a half inches of ice easy. hehe good fun! I just HAD to test my "new" powerhead on the '65 johnson 40hp (worked great)<br />I still have to say I prefer the water in the summer....BY FAR

So I got up this mornin' and got dressed and looked outside and had about 3" of new snow on the truck. Went out and almost died from heat exhaustion. 30 degrees F. DANG!! Swept the truck off and worked up a sweat. Left the plant tonight and near froze. 22 degrees F. Forecast is for a low of 13 degrees. Got home to a new snow man in the front yard. She herself had the grandkids today (no school of course) and they went out and built a snowman. An uglier snowman I doubt you would ever see. Can someone turn winter off for a while??

Winter is almost over.<br /><br />this morning we went out to go to work and temp was +35F. thats 80deg F warmer than it was last week when I drove to an 8 am dentist appointment.<br /><br />There are no illusions about it staying like this till spring and then warming up tho!!

Rainy this morning temp says 46. Wish I had a good weekend to go fishing. Tommorow should be better. We need a warm up because if the S/W temp drops more it will start killing shrimp as well as young fish making next year a tough one on fishing.

Saco, Maine:<br /><br />Update ... Weather is starting to warm but water mains buried four and five feet into the ground are busting. Frost is working that deep into the roads. WishinIwasFishin....your conversion works out to about 110*F. I think I like the cold better! Oops, shouldn't of said that. It's 32*F right now; It'll probably drop to -15F. Just got off I couple of freeze upcalls. The water starts running out of those busted pipes when it warms up. I'm going to cut out on tomorrow's ice fishin trip because I'm just to dang tired.
