What years of merc outboard tilt and trim assemblies will fit a 1970's 50hp Thun.bolt

Just wonder what years and horse power of mercury outboards hydraulic tilt and trim assemblies will fit my 1970's Mercury Thunderbolt 500 50hp. Would love to put one on my all original 1975 Starcraft Jupiter 16'.

That might be a very tough item to find......

You might be better served with a CMC unit. If you try to retrofit an older outboard from the 70's ........original new parts will be a fortune and used parts could be flaky. The CMC are common units with great reputations
