Got Honda 4-stroke, allegedly 7.5 hp, only identifying number is "1500887". What model and/or year is this? Where else do I look for model / year information?

thats a 1983...go to www.boats.net and you can find the year and even look up parts diagrams

I found a dealer that has two Honda outboards. One is a 7 1/2 and the other is 10 hp. The dealer doesn't know what year they are. The serial numbers are BF75S-1701680 and B100S-1707842. Can you tell me what year they are?
