What year my Force is?

I am trying to determine what year my Force is, 152Y9A I believe it is 89 15HP but Iam not sure what the Y and A stands for or if it is a 89! I am not sure why mine dont have an F in it somewhere! Thanks for your help!

Yes it is a 1989A.
The "a" signifies a production run. A 1989B model may use some different parts.

The 2 and the Y denotes what the motor may be equipped with, such as rope start, power trim, short or long shaft, etc.
