I am new to boating and have inherited a boat that needs some work. Going to order a selco manual to for reference. Is there another brand anyone recommends?
Can anyone tell me what year motor do I have? engine serial number 1A015504

I was looking at that just now actually. I believe #41 will be for me. I know I do have the 3.0l TKS Alpha Model.

FYI - Seloc manuals are not worth the paper they are printed on. however they do make good knee pads.

Boatinfo.no is not giving me as much info as I would like. Is the selco manual going to give me more info? Essentially what I am looking for is then chilton or Hayes version for my year mercruiser.

#26 should be the engine and can do the same for that too along with the drive

what information are you looking for.

Chilton, clymer , haynes and Seloc are all crap shoot manuals. half the information is wrong.

get the proper factory manual.

Turns out I was looking at the wrong one. #26 is the manual for me as Bt Doctur pointed out. This has all the info I was looking for. Lots of trouble shooting tips and guidelines. How to replace parts etc.
