Model # 75493D<br /><br />Serial # E01329<br /><br />9.5 HP Johnson<br /><br />I think this might be a 1964 but am not sure. Any help would be appreciated

First, welcome to Iboats, edb706!<br /><br />That model number is for a 1964 engine, but it's for a V-4 Evinrude 75hp! Check the welsh plug (silver, convex disc) on the top of the motor between the thermostat cover and flywheel and see if the model number is there. If it's just a serial number, does it match the one on the tag?<br /><br />A Johnson model number will look like MQ-nn where the 'n's are numbers. Like MQ-10.
