I'm thinking about buying an 8 HP Nissan, manual start. Model # NS8B, Serial # 3B2-1 38520. Owner thinks it is 8 - 10 years old. Can anybody help pin down the year? THANKS

according to the folks at Nissan, its a 1989

It is a 1989...I have no explanation other than I keyed in the wrong serial number yesterday.

I had sent an email to Nissan asking the year, and indeed, it's a 1989 according to them. I haven't bought it yet, so no harm done. Having the year will help in the negotiations. THANKS, TGUY & Elvin.
