What year is my new Force engine

Hi all, I just bought a used Force 15 hp motor and the serial number is unreadable. I how would tell what year it is?

Somewhere there might be a sticker on the transom clamp??
It might have dropped ff?
Somewhere on the block or mid section is a foundry stamp.
​The stamp is usually in a circular pattern.
The center will have the year.
​Look under the carb against the intake.

Will do. Another question i have is i need to run 50:1 is it ok to run my Stihl oil in the mix?

Welcome aboard.

Short answer - NO. Stihl is for air cooled two strokes which run hotter. You need to use TCW3 which is for cooler running two strokes.
