what year is my boat

i was given a boat,it's a fiberform it is pink, it has an outboard,two seats,a windsheild where is the tag on these boats so i can find out what year?thanks for any help. by the way it sat in the p.o. back yard for at least 10 to 15 yrs it was fun to pull out with my little ranger.:grumpy:

sorry i don't have a camera but
i found out the year of the boat it is a 55 the engine is the original a gale sovereign but the bottom half is missing off the motor

i found the tag at the back of the boat it is 1660291k if this will help

it might have been red originally but has fadded to pink i also have to redo the rear flooring is there an easier way to do this. the hull is fine just the interier deck is fun to walk on.

There may be a HIN depending on how old it is. It will be on the starboard side of the transom up toward the top.

Humorously - the president of Silverine boats (my boat type) said years ago that even he had no clue as to what the pre-HIN serial numbers meant Sometimes on the old ones, there's no real way to tell besides lookin' at others. Wiring diagram won't help you much ... most of the manufacturers didn't send one with the hull. The drive manual is what is going to give you more detail ... or searching this forum.
