What year is MY 115 Mariner?

I have a Mariner 115 HP - serial number A181079 and a Mariner 8 HP - serial number OB256503 (the first is an O or zero, not sure). Can anyone tell me what year(s) my motors are?<br /><br />Which repair manuals do you recomend?<br /><br />Thaks in advance for any help.

As I told a previous guy. I was given a Mariner 4hp engine and didn't know the age, so I looked up Mercury online. Mariner is part of Mercury, so just call 920-929-5040 when you get in the queue there is a option (think number 4 ) for Mariner Outboards and then you will get a rep, give them the serial number and model and they can give you the age of the engine. Good luck..worked for me.
